Mitsuko Saito
Mitsuko Saito, 94, of Hilo, formerly of Papaikou, died Oct. 23 at her residence. Born Dec. 12, 1917, in Hilo, she was a retired secretary from the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Hilo and member of Trinity Community Church.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Nov. 14 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10 a.m. celebration of life. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
She is survived by daughters, Myrna (Stanley) Watanabe of Hilo, Sandra (James) Bullock of Georgetown, Calif., Lorna (Earl) Nishiguchi of Lihue, Kauai; son, George Saito of Papaikou; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
